The Historic Wilson Theater opened on February 3, 1926. In 1932 it was known as the Fox Wilson Theater, operated by Fox West Coast Theaters. The Fox Wilson Theater closed as a movie theater in August 1971. By 1986 and for several years to at least 1996 it had become a rock concert venue. It is now home to Cornerstone Church who purchased the building in 1997. The building has been well maintained, retaining all architectural feature, a building once used for movies, boxing and wrestling, and vaudeville acts now serves as a house of worship, live dramas and well as other performances.
